EUSPA together with Eurisy, in cooperation with the Romanian Space Agency, is organising the eigth workshop of the series "Satellite-based Services for Disaster Risk Management". The event will take place in the city of Bucharest, Romania. During the event experts will present operational satellite-based services for disaster risk management. Early adopters and relevant authorities are called to illustrate the challenges and benefits stemming from the integration and use of satellite-based applications. Ultimately, participants will be challenged to move from the national to the European perspective and to discuss ways to improve user data accessibility for disaster risk management.

Storytelling in the Classroom: The 1st GEO-Academy Workshop in France

The 1st GEO-Academy workshop in France is designed to enhance educators' spatial, digital, and green skills! The workshop is organised within the GEO-Academy project, which is an Erasmus+ project, aiming to develop a network offering tailored teacher training and development to incorporate Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing (RS) and Earth Observation (EO) along with Geospatial Storytelling in environmental and Sustainable Development education topics through tools and materials. The project developed the GEOBSERVE platform, hosting trainings and materials, as well as resources and guides to support implementation in the classroom, available free and accessible everywhere.
