What’s next for Eurisy? Let’s write an exciting new chapter together
At Eurisy, we are excited to welcome the new year, filled with anticipation for all the opportunities ahead.
2024 was a significant year for our association, marked by growth, new challenges, great successes, and the exploration of new horizons. Our team expanded, we gained more visibility in the sector, engaged in more activities and projects with several international partners, and grew our community and membership. These incredible achievements were only made possible by our strong, collaborative and passionate team.
As we resume our activities and projects and begin shaping new and exciting initiatives, we also bid a heartfelt farewell and extend our gratitude to Ms Annalisa Donati. After five years of passionate and committed service as Eurisy Secretary General, Annalisa has embarked on a new and exciting journey at the European Space Agency. She leaves behind a wealth of knowledge and passion that we will always cherish and strive to share with our community.
We are also delighted to warmly welcome Dr. Graham Turnock, who officially assumed the role of Eurisy Secretary General in January 2025.
Dr. Turnock holds a PhD in Particle Physics from Cambridge University for his work at European Organization for Nuclear Research. For 15 years, he worked in HM Treasury, notably as leader of the Transport Spending Team. He has also worked in the European Commission and held several other posts in the UK Civil Service. Before joining the UK Space Agency as Chief Executive Officer (2017-2021), Turnock served as Director of Better Regulation in the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. In the past few years, he led the Accelerator Programme at the European Space Agency.
